When you first Install Wordpress, you spend a huge amount of time looking for the usefull plugins all over the web. Yesterday I came across a very useful service called “wpzipper” that allows you to customize and automatically generate a zip file containing both the wordpress package and the plugins or only the plugins:

It it quite nice to have access to all the plugins in one place.
What I personally regret is the missing possibility to sort the plugins by popularity or rating. There are so many of them that the description is not enough to choose. That would have been a great feature. We can see the number of downloads for each plugin but it seems like that does not reflect the quality of the plugin. In fact the download figures follow the alphabetic sorting of the list.

Furthermore, by experience you’re never sure that the plugin is really nice and useful until you see in action on a blog for instance or read a review by a blogger.

Anyway the idea is worth a review on my blog.
