Are You A slave To Your blog ? A Quick Test.

It is commonly agreed that in order for a blog to be successful, the writer needs to produce at least one post a day. This is not natural for the most part of us. Whether you like it or not, a blogger is compelled to perform its daily task of writing at least one interesting article.

We, bloggers, are all the property of our blogs and as a consequence of our readers. A successful book writer is surely exposed to the same feeling. You have to continuously feed your readers with new original content. This leads to the production of very poor posts in the bad times and piece of art in the good ones.

Bloggers have been captured by the Internet, they want to be part of the revolution. They want worldwide recognition for what they think, what they are or for their singular talent. In fact bloggers are slaves to their thirst of admiration and recognition.

But are you totally dominated by your blog ? To find out how much you’re stick to your blog, try to answer to these few questions:

1. Do you switch on your PC when you wake up in the morning ?
2. Do you spend a significant part of your “normal” job work time to think of or write contributions for your blog ?
3. Do you still have a social life ?
4. Do you still spend some time with your friends ?
5. Do you still go to theater ?
6. Do you spend hours seeking for new information on the Internet ?
7. Do you check your blog stats more than once a day ?
8. Do you know where is your wife right now ?
9. Can you still tolerate the sun ?
10. When was the last time you phoned you mother ?
11. When looking at something in the streets do you ask yourself “How could I blog this ?”
12. Can you decide to go on vacation for 3 weeks starting from now ?
13. Is you brain constantly monopolized by an everlasting question : “What will I blog tonight”.
14. Do you read almost every blog about blogging tips (problogger, blogging tips, etc.)?
15. Do you check your feed subscribers stats several times a day ?
